Liability for content

The content of our pages is created with the greatest care. However we cannot guarantee the correctness, completeness and topicality of the content. As a service provider we are responsible according to § 7 Abs.1 TMG for our own content on the webpage. According to §§ 8 bis 10 TMG, we are not obliged as a service provider to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information or to investigate circumstances that indicate illegal activity. Obligations to remove or block the use of information in accordance with general laws remain unaffected by this. However, liability in this respect is only possible from the time of knowledge of a concrete violation of the law. As soon as we become aware of such infringements, we will remove the content immediately.

Liability for links

Our offer contains links to external websites of third parties, on whose content we have no influence. Therefore, we cannot assume any liability for these external content. The respective provider or operator of the pages is always responsible for the content of the linked pages. The linked pages were checked for possible legal infringements at the time of linking, illegal content was not recognisable at the time of linking. A permanent control of the content of the linked pages is not reasonable without concrete evidence of an infringement. As soon as we become aware of any legal infringements, we will remove such links immediately.

Copyright

All the content that is created is subjected to German law pertaining to copyright. Except as permitted by the copyright law applicable to you, you may not reproduce or communicate any of the content on this website, including files downloadable from this website, without the permission of the copyright owner. Downloads and copies of these pages are only permitted for private, non-commercial use. Insofar as the content of this site was not created by the operator, the copyrights of third parties are respected. In particular, content of third parties are marked as such. Should you nevertheless become aware of a copyright infringement, please inform us accordingly. As soon as we become aware of any infringements, we will remove such content immediately.

Data protection

The use of our website is generally possible without providing personal data. Insofar as personal data (e.g. name, address or e-mail address) is collected on our pages, this is always done on a voluntary basis as far as possible. This data will nog be passed on to third parties without your consent.

We would like to point out the data transmission on the Internet (e.g. communication by e-mail) can be subjected to security gaps. A complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

The use of contact information published by third parties for the purpose of sending unsolicited advertising and information materials is hereby expressly excluded. The operators of the pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited promotional information, such as spam e-mails.

Facebook

For our platform we use services of the US Internet network Facebook (Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA). On the one hand, we have installed the Facebook “Like-Button” (a so-called plug-in). This means we have implemented the “Like-Button” in our website with a program code provided by Facebook. The plug-ins are recognisable by one of the Facebook logos (white “F” on a blue tile or a “thumbs up” sign). The list and appearance of the Facebook social plug-ins can be viewed on Facebook: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins.

By integrating the plug-ins, Facebook receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding page of the looping website. If you are logged in to Facebook at the same time, you can be identified (e.g. for advertising via Facebook). If, for example, you click the Like button or make a comment, the corresponding information is transferred directly from the browser to Facebook and stored there. If you don't use Facebook, the service can still collect the IP address and save it. The purpose and scope of the data collection, the further processing and use of data by Facebook as well as user rights and setting options can be found in Facebook’s data protection information: http://www.facebook.com/about/privacy.

If you are a Facebook member but do not want Facebook to collect data about you via the Looping website and link it to your data stored on Facebook, you must log out of Facebook before visiting Looping.

If you are not a Facebook member or have not (yet) agreed to the collection and use of data, Looping recommends that you do not click on Facebook plug-ins.

Furthermore, the Looping App offers the function “Log-in with Facebook”, so that you can register and log in to Looping with your Facebook access data. Looping contains information from Facebook about your public profile (e.g. name, profile picture, age range, gender, language, country) as well as your friends list and e-mail address. You can also allow further data exchange between Looping and Facebook (e.g. by automatic sharing, see above). Looping never writes on your Facebook inboard without your permission and never passes data to Facebook or third parties without your permission. The administration of your Looping member account and Facebook profile is your own responsibility.
