Data entered by users
You can use Looping only with registration (all common iOS and Android devices). You will need to enter your e-mail address and choose a password. This information is required to ensure that you can take advantage of the full offer. Last but not least, we need these and other data to be able to respond to your wishes, questions and criticism.
In the future, we are also planning to introduce the possibility for you to personalize your account. For example, you can post a photo, choose a username, and connect to your Facebook user account. There is no obligation to personalize your account. This is done solely on a voluntary basis.
The Looping product has task management as a central function. You can use the product off- and online.
With pure offline use, the data you enter is stored decentrally on your storage medium. In this case we have no access to this data.
If you use looping within a registered account, all entered data and tasks are synchronized with a database. The purpose of this database is that you can use looping on different devices and access your tasks anywhere and at any time. The data is transferred to the respective end devices using industry-standard SSL encryption, so that your data is transmitted securely.
We use personal data to enable a secure, effective and user-related use of looping, e.g. for:
- the Internet-based retrieval of the task list,
- the anonymous statistical evaluation of task management for looping and study press releases,
- the recommendation of looping by you to friends and acquaintances via the Invite function (e-mail address).
In principle, we will not pass your data on to third parties without first informing you and asking for your permission. Only in the following exceptional cases, we can transmit your data to third parties without prior separate information:
If it serves to clarify an illegal looping use or is necessary for legal prosecution, personal data will be passed on to the prosecution authorities and, if necessary, to injured third parties. However, this only happens if there are concrete indications of illegal or abusive behaviour. A passing on can also take place if this serves the enforcement of general terms and conditions or other agreements.
We are also legally obliged to provide information to certain public authorities upon request. These are law enforcement authorities, authorities that prosecute fined offences and the tax authorities. Occasionally, we depend on contractually affiliated third parties and external service providers to provide the services, for example in the areas of sending advertising (only if you have explicitly agreed to this in advance), storing your data and customer service. In such cases, information is passed on to these companies or individuals to enable them to process it further. These external service providers are carefully selected and regularly reviewed by us to ensure that your privacy is protected. The service providers may only use the data for the purposes specified by us. The service providers are also contractually obliged by us to treat your data exclusively in accordance with this data protection declaration and the German data protection laws.
As our business develops, the structure of familynet GmbH may change as the legal form changes, subsidiaries, parts of companies or components are founded, purchased or sold. In such transactions, customer information is shared with the part of the company to be transferred. Whenever personal data is passed on to third parties to the extent described above, Looping ensures that this is done in accordance with this data protection declaration and the relevant data protection laws.

Looping stores so-called "cookies" in order to offer you a comprehensive range of functions and to make the use of our websites more comfortable. "Cookies" are small files that are stored on your computer with the help of your Internet browser. If you do not wish to use "cookies", you can prevent "cookies" from being stored on your computer by making the appropriate settings in your Internet browser. Please note that this may limit the functionality and scope of our services.
Analysis of Looping
In the context of looping use, we collect static data that cannot be assigned to you at any time. This serves to improve looping.
Looping uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. "("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the looping service. The information generated by the cookie about your use of Looping (including your shortened IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of looping, to compile reports on activities for us and to provide other services associated with looping and Internet use. Google may also transfer this information to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google.
For the website http://www.go-looping.com you can disable Google Analytics using a browser add-on if you do not want the looping analysis.
You can find this add-on here: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en
For deactivation within the app, open the settings in the looping app and deactivate Google Analytics there
For our platform we use services of the US-American internet network facebook (facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA). On the one hand, we installed the "Like-Button" facebook (like-my-link, a so-called plug-in). That means, we implemented the "Like-Button" with a program code provided by facebook in our website. The plug-ins can be recognized by one of the facebook logos (white "f" on blue tile or a "thumbs up" sign). The list and the appearance of the facebook social plug-ins can be viewed at facebook: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins
By integrating the plug-ins, facebook receives the information that you have called the corresponding page of the looping website. If you are logged in to facebook at the same time, you can be identified (for example for advertising via facebook). For example, if you press the Like button or make a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted directly from the browser to facebook and stored there. If you do not use facebook, the service can still at least collect and store the IP address. The purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of data by facebook as well as related user rights and setting options for the protection of user privacy are stated in the data protection information of facebook: http://www.facebook.com/about/privacy
If you are a facebook member but do not want facebook to collect data about you via the Looping website and link to your data stored on facebook, you must log out of facebook before visiting Looping.
If you are not a facebook member or have not (yet) agreed to the collection and use of data there, Looping recommends that you do not click on facebook plug-ins.
Furthermore the Looping App offers the function "Log-in with facebook", so that you can register and log in to Looping with your facebook access data. Looping contains information about your public profile (e.g. name, profile picture, age range, gender, language, country) as well as your friends list and e-mail address. You can also allow further data exchange between looping and facebook (e.g. by automatic sharing, see above). Looping never writes on your facebook wall without your permission and never gives your personal data to facebook or third parties without permission. The administration of your looping member account and facebook profile is in your hands.
To deactivate it within the app, open the settings in the looping app and deactivate Facebook Analytics there.
We use services of the US marketing automation provider BRAZE ( Sansome Street, Suite 1200, San Francisco, CA 94104) for our platform. With Braze we can send you in-app notifications within the app. This helps us to give you a better introduction to the app and to keep you informed about important changes.
For our platform we use services of the US deep-link provider BRANCH ( S1400 Seaport Blvd Building B, 2nd Floor, Redwood City, CA 94063 USA) With Branch individual links can be created which are necessary for inviting to a group. Furthermore, these links can be linked to a specific point within the app. This way we can offer you a better user experience.
Loping uses Firebase, a push service from Google Inc. "("Google"). Firebase is needed to send you push messages like appointment reminders.
Deletion of your data
If your data is no longer required for the aforementioned purposes, we will delete it. Completed tasks remain saved and are marked as "completed" in the database. If you delete your account, all data from your account (lists and tasks) will also be completely deleted by us. If data must be kept for legal reasons, it will be blocked. The data is then no longer available for further use.
Right to information and correction
Of course you have the right to request information about your personal data stored by Looping. You also have the right to correction of incorrect data, blocking and deletion. Please contact support@go-Looping.com or by post to the above address.
